It seems like every one in Pushkar either owns a guest house, or knows someone that owns one. The surplus of competition allows you to be picky and still stick to your budget. my suggestion is to stay at Diamond Guest House. Located just off the main strip Diamond Guesthouse (you can find it on trip advisor for reviews) is a great find. Originally recommended to us from a friend the guest house is clean, has wifi, a chill spot for yoga and drinks on the roof, and also helpful staff. We bargained a room down pretty far and ended up with a great clean room with a balcony for 300 rupees a night. Unless you are in Pushkar for the camel festival always show up and ask to see rooms, you will get much better rates than if you book online. If this guest house is full I can also recommend Sai BaBa guest house. It has a very similar feel with a garden courtyard and very spacious rooms that have screen’s on the doors! bonus!. The wifi only reaches the 2nd floor so try and get a room on that floor if that is a priority.
